Your introduction to alpine adventures

Ski & Snowboard

Hit the slopes!

88 pistes, 350 kilometers, guaranteed snow from early to late. The Engadin is one of the most impressive ski resorts in the Alps. Just a few steps from the hotel, the Signalbahn cable car takes you directly to Corviglia/Piz Nair. Other areas such as Corvatsch or Diavolezza/Lagalb can be reached quickly with the Engadinbus. The bus is free with a valid ski ticket. Snow parks for freestylers provide variety, while cozy huts invite you to stop for a bite to eat.

Our tip: If you get up early, you can experience the silence of the morning with the first turns on freshly groomed slopes.

Cross-country skiing

Cross-country skiing with a view

Over 230 kilometers of groomed trails lead through the vast Engadin, over frozen lakes, snow-covered meadows and quiet side valleys.

You can access the network of trails directly from the hotel. Whether sporty or leisurely, during the day or on the floodlit night trail—you will find your perfect route here. Cross-country skiing schools, rental equipment and individual advice are available.

Ice skating

Skating in the open air

In perfect conditions, a rare natural phenomenon can be seen on the Upper Engadin lakes: black ice, clear, smooth and fascinating.

If you don’t want to wait for chance, use the Ludains artificial ice rink or the natural ice rink in St. Moritz—ideal for ice skating or curling.

Snowshoe hikes

Quiet paths, great experiences

150 kilometers of winter hiking trails invite you to discover the quiet side of the Engadin. Stroll across frozen lakes, walk into Val Fex or enjoy the view on the Philosophers’ Trail at Muottas Muragl.

Those who prefer to go off the beaten track will find marked snowshoe trails—guided tours are also offered. A special experience: Evening hikes with a fondue in an Alpine hut.
